Jindal finishes 14th in latest GOP presidential primary poll in Iowa

June 1, 2015
Another Republican presidential primary poll has Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal receiving just one percent of the vote.

Jindal finished 14th in the Bloomberg-Des Moines Register Iowa poll, which surveyed likely Republican caucus participants.

Jindal was asked about his low poll numbers during an appearance on ABC's This Week.

"On the Republican side this will be an earned nomination; unlike the Democratic side, this is not a coronation," Jindal said.

And Jindal says he's the only candidate in the crowded field to lay out detailed plans on how to move the country forward.

"Every Republican says they want to get rid of Obamacare, we are the only one offering detailed ideas on how you actually do that," Jindal said.

Jindal is expected to officially jump into the race after the legislative session concludes on June 11.
