Washington's own Ben Gibbard (Death Cab for Cutie) is stepping up and helping us here in Seattle and beyond get through this weird and troubling time. Earlier this week Gibbard announced that he's going live from his home studio everyday at 4pm for the next couple weeks; making this whole social distancing/quarantine life a little more bearable.

Today, he went a step further and performed a song he wrote for our city titled "Life in Quarantine".

In his message Ben stated, "I know this is a really f'ed up and scary time for everybody, including myself, and I know that we're all trying to figure out what we can do to make it better, or what we can do to alleviate the suffering of someone else."

And with that, he left us some information on how to help the organization, Aurora Commons. If you have the means and supplies to contribute, you can drop them off here:

The Aurora Commons c/o
927 N. 89th Street
Seattle, WA 98103

If not, then you can spread the word to help those suffering during this difficult time. We're in this together. Stay safe, practice social distancing and wash your hands.
