All this sunshine lately is getting me pumped for warmer weather and outdoor drinking!

And if you haven't noticed, we like to eat and drink around here. That's why we create events like Sip and Slide, it gives us an excuse to stuff our faces with delicious, local food and hang out with you in person! Sip and Slide is our new event featuring all different kinds of sliders/mini sandwiches and local beer and cider! What better way to pregame for a beer event than with some of The End squads favorite local brews? This is what we like to throwback in our free time:

Gregr: This is tough for me because I love beers from a lot of places:

Georgetown: Bodhizafa IPA was my favorite beer of 2017.

Fremont: Cowiche Canyon Fresh Hop APA - I drove all over Seattle buying this beer while it was available.

Peddler Brewing hosts Astronomy on Tap where they serve beers and lectures from space nerds - the best!

Manley: My favorite local beer is an ice cold Manny’s probably always and forever, but my favorite local brewery is Ruben’s.  It was the first place I ever had a drink in this town (thanks Gregr!)  and their new taproom is fantastic.

Branden: It takes all of me to not say Rainier (it truly is my favorite “local” beer). But if we’re talking craft, I have to take it all the way up to Bellingham for the Kulshan IPA. It’s a newer brewery in the area, but whenever I’m in Bellingham or if I see it in cans at a grocery store, it’s my go-to.

Alyssa: I am all about Black Raven Brewing's Kitty Kat Blues. Their coconut porter falls in a close second, but nothing beats a sunny day with an ice cold KKB in hand. It's light but flavorful and has just a hint of blueberry aftertaste which I appreciate. I don't like sweet, super fruity beers. Silver City's Ziggy Zoggy is a Summer favorite, very refreshing and comes in cans, bonus!

What beers or ciders are you drinking these days? Come hang and tell us in person on April 7th at Sip and Slide! Who knows, you just may discover your new favorite local brew. You can buy tickets for the event here!
