I love that receiving old, never-before-heard demos are becoming a thing! Foo Fighters have been treating us to some great unreleased covers and demos from their Foo Files vault since the Fall last year and are planning "some seriously crazy %#$*! for their 25th anniversary this year. I am here for all of it!

Tuesday the guys announced their upcoming Van TourThey'll be hitting the road in April making stops at some of the first towns and cities they played back in '95, (I'm still hopeful for a Seattle date) and today! Well, today they pulled out a gem from the photo album!:

There is a moment in every band’s history when you decide it’s time to load the gear out of the practice space and bring the music to the people for the first time. This was ours, 25 years ago today. Keg party at the Marine Store, Seattle Wa.... . 25 years later, the fear and stage fright may have faded, but the love of making music with my friends is stronger than ever. Ahhh, Dave Grohl pre-amazing beard. According to Foo Fighters Live, this day (Feb. 19th) 25 years ago, the guys performed their very first gig for friends and family on the second floor of the West Marine Store. It was located off Mercer Street in downtown Seattle and was demolished in 2010.

Do you know anyone who went to this?? If yes, send them my way, please! I have so many questions \m/

Reach out to me on Twitter anytime, fellow Foo Fanatic!

PS - here's footage of the final days of said West Marine store thanks to YouTuber Craig Dahl:
