Taylor Hawkins is a machine on drums, but he is also a solid singer! I love his raspy, classic rocker voice and it was great to watch him sing on a few cover songs last September during the Foo Fighters' T-Mobile Park show! The Coattail Riders are one of Taylor's side projects which he founded and fronts. The band features Chris Chaney from Jane's Addiction, guitarist Brent Woods and John Lousteau. The Coattail Riders will be releasing their third album, Get the Money on November 8th and prepare your ears for greatness!

The LP will be packed with rock legends including some of Seattle's finest; Dave Grohl, Pat Smear, Duff McKagan, Nancy Wilson of Heart, Joe Walsh, Queen drummer Roger Taylor, Perry Farrell, Chrissie Hynde and LeAnn Rimes! I haven't thought about LeAnn Rimes since middle school, this will an interesting listen.

With this awesome album announcement comes a new song featuring Dave Grohl titled, "Crossed The Line". It's veryyyy prog rock and sounds like The Cars crossed with the band Yes. Taylor gives a fun nod to the Foo's "Best Of You" in the first minute of the track which I enjoy :) Check out the song below and let me know what you think!
