New Music Friday: Billie Eilish, Gerard Way, Issac Gracie and more!

October 26, 2018

At least once a week Manley and I have a mini music meeting in our office. We blast the new, new and we're either jamming out or yelling "Next!" Hey, being a music nerd can be brutal, but someone has to do it. We rounded up some jams that we think you should be listening to right now, check them out!

Manley says:

Cloud Nothings - Leave Him Now - People always talk about how guitar music is dead.  Its not, you just need to know how to find it.

Isaac Gracie - Show me love - I'm obsessed with this dude’s voice. Been a fan of his since he released a demo that he recorded in his room that featured a song called “Terrified.”

Richard Ashcroft - That’s when I Feel it - Speaking of amazing voices, Richard Ashcroft is maybe one of the most underappreciated frontmen ever. You may remember him as the front man from The Verve, he’s since gone solo and dropped some really good stuff.

Alyssa says:

Gerard Way - Baby You're A Haunted House - Gerard Way and Halloween go together like TP on devil's night, so it only makes sense that he released a Halloween themed song for us!

He even shared an Insta post giving us some insight about the song:

So glad that people are enjoying the song, here is a bit about it. #byahh

Billie Eilish - When the Party's Over - There's a reason we're bringing Billie Eilish to Deck The Hall Ball; She knows how to throw a party on stage (with a massive spider!) She killed it at the Showbox the other night and if you missed out, you have to come check her out at Deck, Dec. 11th! Like, for real. This is her latest song and the video totally has a creepy Halloween vibe!

Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever Talking Straight - I am obsessed with this song! They're a 5-piece band from Melbourne and they released their first full-length album earlier this year through Sub Pop. This song reminds me of early Rolling Stones, which is the best!
