Songs You Should be Listening To - New Music From Foals, Cage The Elephant, Vampire Weekend + More

March 8, 2019

At least once a week Manley and I have a mini music meeting in our office. We blast the new, new and we're either jamming out or yelling "Next!" Hey, being a music nerd can be brutal, but someone has to do it. We rounded up some jams that we think you should be listening to right now, check them out!

Manley says:

Foals - Everything Not Saved Will be Lost Pt. - Listen, I know there are a lot of great new songs out this week, including stuff from Black Keys, The National, and my girlfriend Meg Myers, but the only new stuff I’m spending time with this weekend is the new album from Foals. I'm already obsessed with Sunday and Exits. Can’t wait to see what other songs raise their hand as certified bops.

Vampire Weekend - Sunflower ft. Steve Lacy - One of my favorite bands just released a song that has some serious 60's/Woodstock vibes and I couldn't be happier! We now have three new songs from their forthcoming album, Father Of The Bride, which will drop on May 3rd!

Meg Myers - Running Up That Hill - It's International Women's Day and Meg Myers just gave us a powerful cover of Kate Bush's song, "Running Up That Hill"!  Meg has said she doesn't particularly like covering other artist's music because she wanted to sing music that was truly authentic to her, but when she discovered this Kate Bush song, she said it resonated with her soul for years like nothing ever before. It is truly a solid cover, hope you enjoy!

Cage The Elephant House Of Glass - Thank you, CTE for never disappointing us with your music! The guys are back and are giving us a taste of their upcoming album, Social Cues that will drop in April! Take a listen to their latest song and let mw know what you think!
