At least once a week Manley and I have a mini music meeting in our office. We blast the new, new and we're either jamming out or yelling "Next!" Hey, being a music nerd can be brutal, but someone has to do it. We rounded up some jams that we think you should be listening to right now, check them out!

Manley says:

The 1975- Give Yourself A Try - This might be the only song I listen to this weekend.  It is SO good!  At first the guitar tone is a little abrasive because its so sharp, but it really takes me back to their first album which I will love forever (Robbers FTW!!!)

I agree with everything ^  This song is SO good! Perfect for Summertime. - Alyssa

Gorillaz- Humility - This sounds like summer to me.  A little chill, but pretty bright.

Meg Myers- Take Me To The Disco -  Her first song was a guitar heavy banger, this one is spacey and orchestral.  Bae..I mean Meg… is really showing some serious song writing growth and I am here for it!

Alyssa says:

St. Vincent - Fast Slow Disco - This song is going on my Pride Month playlist, holy crap! It's a reworked version of St. Vincent's song, Slow Disco that she produced with Jack Antonoff of Bleachers. St. Vincent will be opening for Florence + The Machine this September and I really hope she plays this gem for us. I love it!

KITTEN - It's a happy release day for the band KITTEN! Their brand new EP, Pink Champagne is out and we have plenty of time to become friends with it before the band comes to play Showbox SoDo June 23rd! We've been spinning their jam, I Did It! and for good reason- it's a stellar 80s pop anthem and their new EP is a continuation of that sound!

Beach House - Lemon Glow - This song is DOPE. I can't get enough of it. You can find it on their new album, 7 (which was released through Sub Pop). I just want to look at the stars while listening to this song..

Feel free to reach out to chat new music discovery anytime! Have a great weekend.
