First of all, it's Friday, the sun is currently beaming through the studio windows AND we have brand new music to put into our earholes. Today is a good day!

Throwing major kudos to Alice Merton on a successful EP release! We've all been digging her song, "No Roots" (that bass line!) and today she gifted us with four more songs. I've only listened to the full EP once through, but so far I love "Lash Out"! It's upbeat and fun and the guitar riff is solid. This EP is a must listen over the weekend!:

You may recognize the guitarist and singer from the band Wallows. His name is Dylan Minnette and he played Clay Jensen (the guy you were rooting for) in the Netflix series, 13 Reasons Why. His band just dropped a brand new EP on us and I'm already in lerve with it. I hear some influence from The Smiths in the song "1980s Horror Film" and if you like The Drums, then you'll dig the last song, "Pictures of Girls." The whole EP is good, though, so you should just give it a listen, music nerd:

Fans of Bear Hands get excited! After two years of sitting with their album, You'll Pay For This, the band decided to drop a new (stellar) song into our ears. Titled, "Back Seat Driver (Spirit Guide)"  lead singer Dylan Rau says the song is about...."free will and finding yourself and doing thing that you don't feel you are in control of.. being drawn to something and not really knowing why?

Take a listen:
