At least once a week Manley and I have a mini music meeting in our office. We blast the new, new and we're either jamming out or yelling "Next!" Hey, being a music nerd can be brutal, but someone has to do it. We rounded up some jams that we think you should be listening to right now, check them out!:

Manley says:

Arctic Monkeys - Listen, there is no one that loves AM more than me…well maybe that one fan that has a gigantic portrait of Alex Turner tattooed on their back….but I’m having a tough time with this new album. To be fair, Four Out of Five is totally growing on me but the rest of it is still to weird for me.

I agree with Manley, the album is a little weird..and not in a bad way, it's just not what I was expecting and they went in a completely different direction from their last album. I need to really sit with this LP over the weekend to see how I feel about it. "Four Out of Five" is pretty solid, though and has a total Bowie feel to it. - Alyssa

Bastille- Quarter Past midnight -  HOT DAMN THIS IS A GOOD SONG, RIGHT?

Childish Gambino- This is America - I don’t know what to say about this song that hasn’t already been said.  Watch the video, think about the video, rinse, repeat. Donald Glover is a genius and making some important art.

Alyssa says:

lovelytheband - These Are My Friends - We fell in love with their single Broken <3 and now the guys are back with a catchy new song that frontman Mitchy Collins explains is about  all the good and bad parts about him..which he touches on alot through their music.

Kitten - Strange Embrace - I fell in love with this band after watching them perform at Taco Truck Challenge. Their energy (and tree climbing abilities) blew me away! They were so fun and opened with their Summer vibes jam, I Did it!  Today they dropped another new song on us with the announcement of their EP, titled Pink Champagne, coming our way June 1st! This song is retro pop at its best! Check it out and then go see Kitten at Showbox SoDo June 23rd

MIGHTY - Safe and Sound - I really dig this band. They're like sloppy garage rock and I mean that in the best way! They aren't super polished, but grungy and raw and I'm into it! I also really dig frontman Angelo's semi-screamo vocals. Daniel Gleason of Grouplove produced this track and I used to spin these guys on my local radio show when I worked in Atlanta. Give this song a listen and let me know what you think!
