At least once a week Manley and I have a mini music meeting in our office. We blast the new, new and we're either jamming out or yelling "Next!" Hey, being a music nerd can be brutal, but someone has to do it. We rounded up some jams that we think you should be listening to right now, check them out!:

Manley Says:

OBVIOUSLY I can’t wait to hear Bishop Briggs' new album!  I mean, she is kind of our favorite around here.
Kitten- I Did It! - I saw these guys at SXSW and their live show absolutely blew me away!  So much so that we had to bring them to Taco Truck Challenge.

Dennis Lloyd- Nevermind - I can’t put my finger on who this reminds me of. Maybe Hozier, but with a groove?  Anway, I've been listening to this a lot lately.

The Driver Era-  Preacher Man - Remember the band R5?.. Well a few members of that group have formed The Driver Era, and I think they might have made the song of the summer.  Check it out!

Alyssa says:

Like Manley said, Bishop Briggs is one of our favorites around here. She is the sweetest human being ever and can sing like no other! I remember walking around Summer Camp 2016 while Bishop was on stage and seeing the look of surprise and intrigue on most of you. She blew us away and she continues to do so with every performance. We're incredibly stoked for Bishop's success and we need to give her a big album release day shout out RN! Church Of Scars is Bishop's first full-length album and you should absolutely make it part of your weekend soundtrack. This is one of my favorites:

Lucy Dacus - Addictions - I dig Lucy's voice and her guitar sound. She reminds me of Brandi Carlile a little but more indie rock than folk. Lucy definitely has her own thing going on and has opened shows for Car Seat Headrest and The Decemberists. So far, this is my favorite song off her new album, Historian:

Weakened Friends - Hate Mail - I feel like if Hole and Bleached got together for a jam sesh, the finished product would sound something like this song. This song features J Mascis (from Dinosaur Jr.) on guitar and is great to listen to with the car windows down on a sunny day. Try it out sometime.

Feel free to reach out and talk new music discovery with us anytime!
