New music discovery is what we do and we love sharing it with you and getting your feedback! Today we were gifted with new albums from The Head and the Heart, The National and an EP from Interpol. Check out some of my favorites and let me know which songs you're digging!

Interpol - A Fine Mess - This five track EP comes packed with rich choruses and in-your-face lyrics about enjoying what life is handing you. It's just under twenty minutes and worth the listen! Start with this one:

The Head and the Heart - Living Mirage - Locals, THATH released their fourth studio album and I am already in love with the first single we've been spinning, "Missed Connection". It sounds different than their other material, a little more pop. I like when a band tries out something new and jumps out of their comfort zone a bit.

Drummer Tyler Williams stated that the song is unlike anything they’ve ever done before, “A lot of the beats on that song are quicker, and there are high-hats that were never in our music before.” Dive into the LP over the weekend and hit me back with your favs!

The National - I Am Easy To Find - The long anticipated wait for the band's eighth studio album is over! The National teamed up with Mike Mills to create a 27-minute long film to go along with the new album. You'll hear some guest vocals on this LP from Sharon Van Etten and pieces performed by the Brooklyn Youth Chorus. Definitely dive into this album soon, it may just be one of the best LPs we get this year!

Ra Ra Riot - Flowers - I am a huge fan of this band and have seen them live too many times to count! They'll be opening for Third Eye Blind and Jimmy Eat World at WaMu Theater next month and it looks like they'll have a handful of new songs on their setlist! Today, along with this new song, the band announced they'll be releasing their new album Superbloom on August 9th. I'm stoked!

Have a great weekend and listen to awesome music! Reach out to talk tunes anytime on Twitter:
