Yes, it's true. The Nirvana exhibit at MoPop is officially closing on March 19th. I was tipped off with the info from my Twitter bud, Jenn DeBellis. She's aware of my love for Kurt and Nirvana and advised me to come check out the gallery one last time before it leaves.

I'm glad I did, because the previous time I went was pretty much a disaster. The girl I was meeting there showed up drunk and apparently wasn't familiar with any of Nirvana's music... I KNOW. Let's just say it was the worst first date in the history of dating.

Anyway.. this time was a lot better. I was actually able to hear what Jenn was saying (when I wasn't geeking out in my head about all of the memorabilia hanging around).

Jenn has been volunteering her time to give these tours since the exhibit opened about six years ago and has some awesome nuggets of info on Kurt and the band.

I know most people have been to the gallery at least once, but if you've been wanting to check it out for a second, third or even fourth time, get on it! Sunday, March 19th is the last day you have to walk through what is, in my opinion, the coolest and most extensive grunge exhibit out there.

If you need a little push to get there, just check out my photos below!

Owned by Kurt, he used this suitcase as a makeshift drum kit for his Organized Confusion demo.

The poster from the first show the band played under the name Nirvana. So rad.

Jenn is the coolest and she's giving several tours throughout the week. Go check out the gallery once more while you can. :) Reach out to me on Twitter to share photos and to geek out over Nirvana, always!
