Seattle Public Schools to Close Due to Coronavirus Concerns

The announcement follows the ban on social gatherings in King, Snohomish and Pierce counties

Wednesday morning (3/11), Governor Inslee put a ban into effect for social gatherings and events for more than 250 people due to coronavirus concerns. This ban runs through King, Pierce and Snohomish counties. 

Shortly after, it was announced that Seattle public schools will be closed for a minimum of two weeks starting Thursday, March 12th.
