Pride month is here I have already seen a ton of things to do to get out and celebrate! This will be my (and my girlfriend's) first time celebrating Pride in Seattle and we are starting this Thursday (June 8th) with beer! Our friends at Elysian Brewing are hosting a Pride Ale Release Party at Elysian on Capitol Hill with their new raspberry/blackberry cream ale. Sounds awesome! If you're going, let's meet up for a pint clink!

Some other Pride events I have come across that look super fun!:
Volunteer Park Pride Festival - Happening this Saturday (June 10th) from noon-7pm. There will be guest speakers from the community, food trucks, a beer garden and lots of live music! Stoked that SISTERS will be performing!

This Sunday (June 11th) you can join the Seattle Pride March for love, equality and solidarity. It starts with an 11am rally at Cal Anderson Park and the march kicks off at noon!

Monday, June 12th, the Seattle Public Library is hosting a discussion panel where LGBTQ leaders will address hate crimes in Seattle. Even though Seattle is known for having a very active LGBTQ community, hate crimes are still an issue in our city and have risen since 2015. Get all the info on this event, here.

Our homie Gloria made stellar Pride soaps this year!..

AND informed me about the BBQueer Beach Bash going down at Golden Gardens June 18th!

Also pretty stoked for Pride Film Fest (June 17th &18th) featuring a screening of Milk! :D
And let's not forget about the Seattle Pride Parade going down June 25th, woo woo!

There are so many events going on in the community for Pride month, are you attending any? Do you want me to add it here? If yes, reach out to me anytime on Twitter :)
