By now, you may know that I am a diehard Foo Fighters fan and that Dave Grohl is my hero. I mean, I tricked my boss into letting us jam out to the Foo Fighters ever Friday for FooDay Friday to fulfill my craving. So, when the homie Manley informed me that Dave was going to be busking at Pike Place Market with Brandi Carlile...

So.... rumor has it we’re maybe going busking at Pike place right now... see you soon fish!! @pikeplacepublicmarket

I hopped in my car and drove like a madwoman over the West Seattle Bridge and I didn't even stop to enjoy the scenery, that's how you know I wasn't messing around. I parked at work and grabbed a quick Lyft, and just as we were approaching the Showbox Market, I checked my Instagram and saw this:

I JUST missed them! They were gone. I walked around for a bit to see if Dave popped into a bar nearby, but no dice. It was a total bummer, I mean what are the odds?! We can file this under "The Most Seattle Thing Ever". They played the Foo's "Times Like These" and if you were there, I'd love to hear about it. Just goes to show, you never know who you'll bump into on a random Saturday in Seattle.

Hit me on Twitter anytime to talk music or Dave Grohl \m/
