Alaskan Way Viaduct preparing to close for two weeks

It's no secret that Seattle traffic is...uh...not good.

Well, it's about to get worse. Starting on the 29th, The Alaskan Way Viaduct, SR 99, Aurora, Satan's waterfront bridge, whatever you like to call it, is closing for approximately* two weeks while Bertha drills beneath. 

The closure will go all the way from West Seattle Bridge at the south end to Battery St. Tunnel in the north. In this two-week span, there are eight home games for the Mariners and two home Sounders matches. TAKE THE BUS YOU FOOLS! 

Sure, we are getting a super fancy tunnel that will open up Seattle's waterfront, but get ready for two weeks of hellish traffic through downtown with one of the two major thoroughfares shuts down while Drilly McDrillface cruises beneath the rickety old road for a couple weeks.
