It's been three years since Daft Punk last performed live at the Grammys, which was, in fact, the duo's last performance live at all. Picking up right where they left off, Daft Punk will return to the stage at the 59th Annual Grammy Awards along with the Weeknd, the Recording Academy announced today.

Having never toured behind their last album Random Access Memories, the french electronic pioneers collaborated with the Canadian singer for two songs on the latter's recent album Starboy.

There was plenty speculation that Daft Punk would be touring this year, which happens to mark the 20th anniversary of their debut release Homework. Despite the rumors of festival appearances and possible tour dates, no plans have been made public or official.

The Academy also announced a performance from A Tribe Called Quest, Anderson.Paak, and Dave Grohl at this year's event.
