A little band from Reading, England made its way into the Discover & Download list this week and has been generating a lot of buzz in the sleepy PNW. You have probably heard Sundara Karma (a name they got out of a fortune cookie) a few times this week, so take a moment to get to know the young band in our latest End Q&A:

THE END: Give us a little overview of your last few months. Have you been on the road? Recording? Writing?
SUNDARA KARMA: We've mainly been on the road playing shows. we're currently in Detroit playing a show that's part of a BBC tour we've been doing with Spring King and Izzy Bizu, it's been lots of fun.

END: What’s next for your band? Upcoming projects? Touring? World domination?

END: What can people expect from your live shows? Lots of dancing? Stand-up comedy between songs? You doing the robot?
SK: I think people can expect to be entertained, even if it is just mildly entertained. our fans are quite young and they have so much excitement in them. there will almost certainly be a pop mosh.

END: Have you ever played in the Northwest? Seattle?
SK: No unfortunately not! Apparently it's very much like England though, bitter weather and all!

END: Tell us about your band name and how it came to be?
SK: It found us in the form of a fortune cookie.

END: What bands (other than yourself) should people be listening to?
SK: Palme Honey, Matt Maltese, Blaenavon

END: Pizza or Burritos? You must choose one.
SK: Pizza.

END: Best road trip music?
SK: The Grateful Dead.

END: What is your favorite activity during the down-time on the road?

END: It’s 3am and you roll up to a convenient store. You only have $5. What do you get?
SK: Oreos and some chip n dip or something.
