When you struggle to sleep at night, there are a few tricks you can use to fall asleep quickly. Some people count sheep. Some people count backwards from 100. Some people just say "Gorillaz will have a new album in 2017" repeatedly until they fall into a deep, peaceful slumber, dreaming of the countless hours spent playing "Gorillaz Final Drive" on their family's home computer after everyone else finally went to bed.

To each their own.

Gorillaz did indeed say a new album can be expected in 2017 according to Gorillaz co-creator Jamie Hewlett

In preparation for the album, and maybe we are getting ahead of ourselves, the Gorillaz YouTube feed re-uploaded a few of their infamous videos (Feel Good, Inc., Clint Eastwood, 19-2000) in full HD in late June for our viewing pleasure.

If you were looking for a way to propel yourself into an infinite YouTube feedback loop, we may have found the perfect launch-pad. Grab your Doritos and jump in the cockpit because this gon' be good.
