It appears Tacos Chukis is headed to South Seattle

It looks like you'll be able to get your hands on some of the best tacos in town in Beacon Hill pretty soon.

A Seattle Reddit user, hjhart, walked past a new development in the South Seattle neighborhood and discovered permitting language indicating one of the businesses opening up inside the building will be a Tacos Chukis

#sEATtle: Tacos Chukis

If true, it will be the third location for the beloved, local taco restaurant and is set to go next to the Beacon Hill light rail station. The new location follows the original location on Capitol Hill and their (as of now) newest spot on Dexter near South Lake Union. Just writing about it at this very moment makes me want to get out of my seat and walk up to the hill to eat 10 tacos.

Manley says... "Listen, I spent 12 years cooking myself away in the desert before moving to Seattle, so I know a thing or 10 about what makes a good taco.  Its also the one thing I miss more than anything about my time in the Southwest…well that and 300 days of summer.  ANYHOO I say this with 100% confidence, Tacos Chukis make the best tacos in all of Seattle!  Seriously, you want these in your rotation immediately.  Suggested meal- 2 pollo asada tacos and 1 carne asada baby burrito. Wash it down with a glass of horchata!"

There's no info yet as to when the new location will open (and none of this has been officially confirmed by the restaurant itself), but let's just say the taco game in Beacon Hill is about to get a great new addition.

This is happening.
