What should you pack at Summer Camp 2017?

There are a lot of things you can bring to a music festival to have a good time, but what are the absolute necessities before you leave the house for your Summer Camps, Bumbershoots, and Sasquatches of the world?

Here are the two things you can NOT FORGET when you're heading out the door.

1. Battery charger
With doors opening at noon both days, Summer Camp is a long day for those that like to document everything that is happening. Pro-tip - invest in one of those portable battery chargers that can give you the extra juice to get you through the day before you go home and prep for day two! 

Here are a couple battery chargers that you can score for under $15 off Amazon Prime before this weekend!

2. Something to sit on
Blanket, towel, little chair, one of those inflatable things you look kinda crazy while inflating, whatever. You are going to want something to put your butt on at some point during the day and your significant other will get tired of it being their lap after about five minutes. The grass is fine, but if you're like me, you get itchy legs and arms if any piece of your skin sits there too long! 

Here is a full list of everything you can and can't bring to Marymoor Park this weekend:

ALLOWED:

  • Coolers (up to 24" wide x 36" long), food items (non-glass containers only), and empty reusable non-glass water bottles.
  • Empty reusable water bottles and/or one sealed disposable bottle of water up to 20 oz. per person.
  • Blankets and beach towels, no more than 5’ in length or width. Depending on attendance, you may be asked to limit the footprint of your blanket.
  • Low-backed beach chairs (seat 12" or lower from the ground and height 28" or lower)
  • Umbrellas when it's raining
  • Baby bottles/formula

NOT ALLOWED:

  • Beverages of any kind, in any type of disposable container with the exception of one disposable water bottle per person (up to 20oz). Reusable non-glass water bottles are allowed but must be empty.
  • Glass containers, wine glasses or glass dishes.
  • Standard height or high-backed patio or beach chairs (seat higher than 12" from the ground and/or back taller than 28")
  • BBQs/grills
  • Coolers that exceed 24" wide x 36" in width/length
  • Blankets or towels that exceed 5’ in width/length
  • Weapons of any kind
  • Pets (except service animals)
  • Canopies, tents, and tables (folding or otherwise)
  • Rolling carts, wagons and other rolling devices for hauling.
