It's always weird to watch punk rockers play their music in giant arenas for celebrities and pop stars who don't know what to do with their hands, but that's what you get during large music awards shows.

This year, Green Day was honored with the Global Icon Award at the American Music Awards and were invited to play the single off their new album, "Bang Bang," except when they reached the bridge of the song, they started a change among the crowd yelling:

"No Trump! No KKK! No fascist USA!"

Alternatively, Green Day could have played "American Idiot" and still get their point across. Trump, who has now taken issue with both SNL and the Broadway show Hamilton for their critiques of him and his Vice President-Elect Mike Pence, hasn't commented on the performance yet, but we can assume it's just a matter of time before the new Prez launches a tweet storm against Green Day.

After all, it only took Mac Miller going platinum for his song "Donald Trump" for Trump to acknowledge him with a concise "Kiss My Ass."
