If going to the lake for a summer swim wasn't exciting enough for you, that's ok. A new company in Seattle called Hot Tub Boats has set up shop and now you can rent, you guessed it, a hot tub boat to cruise around Lake Union.

Yes, this is real.

It's a boat that is also a hot tub, with water inside at a steaming 104°F. You can have up to six people in the boat for your trip and anyone over the age of 18 can call themselves skipper (BYO captain's hat). The company is based right here in Seattle and they are made by a marine carpenter who specializes in custom house boats.

You can rent a hot tub boat all year, rain or shine! The boat is outfitted with waterproof speakers and a built-in ice chest for your food and drink (no alcohol, though)

It costs $350 for two hours, and $100 for each additional hour. With six people, that's $60 for two hours of floating in water that's floating on water! You make your reservations online with their scheduling tool!

The boat is controlled using an easy-to-use joystick, which you can use to take the party anywhere on Lake Union or Portage Bay with your crew!
