If you're from the PNW, it's likely you grew up listening to Nirvana, or at least you knew their music. Even kids here (for the most part) recognize the biggest songs from the band, but what about a bunch of '00s kids who were born a decade and a half after the band ceased to exist?

A popular YouTube channel strapped headphones on a bunch of kids to get their reactions to hearing Nirvana for the first time and the quotes are priceless.

Sydney, age 9: "Nirvana sounds like a drink at Jamba Juice"

Brooke-Monaé, age 11: "I can't understand a word they're saying"

Watch below:

Overall, the kids really dug the music, but 8-year-old Carlin might be the biggest new fan of Nirvana after hearing samplings from the band's discography. We get it, Carlin. We really do.

Do you remember the first time you heard Nirvana?
