Canadian wise guys Sebastien Grainger and Jesse F. Keeler of the band 'Death From Above 1979' spent a couple of hours with the End at the EMP museum not only to play a few acoustic songs during an intimate EndSession in the JBL Theater but to explore and play with some of the great displays in EMP.  Below are some photos from the day.

GregR visited the Game of Thrones area at EMP and found his inner Lannister.  He has only seen one season of the show so if you see him don't spoil it!  I t ried to tell him what happens and he got really mad as you can see below.  It's pretty straight forward...a hot girl shows her boobs and then someone you've grown to love or hate with a passion dies a violent, gory death.

The guys from Death from Above 1979 had a 4D experience ascending the 700 foot Ice Wall in Game of Thrones.  I took the ride too and I have to say, it's pretty intense!  Information about the experience:  HERE

Jesse (L) and Sebastian under the 'If VI was IX" guitar sculpture at EMP.

The Indie Game Revolution room at EMP was pretty wacky.  It was like walking inside a giant version of Minecraft filled with some games that can only be described as bizarre.  Below are photos of the guys from Death From Above 1979 playing the game 'Tenya Wanya Teens' where as best I could tell from watching the object is to take off your clothes and urinate on each other.  There were some bear suits and some hitting too but really the pee battle was what really stuck out in my mind (no, I am not making that up).

Up next was an interview with GregR in a room filled with Jimi Hendrix memorabilia.

I think it's safe to say that Jesse was beyond excited about giving an interview :)

GregR played the acoustic EndSession version of "Trainwreck 1979" as the EndSession song of the day at 8:20 (repeated at 4:20) and I have to say it sounds really great. I listen to the album "The Physical World" quite a bit and it is a rockin record all the way through.  It's amazes me how well their music transforms to a much more mellow acoustic version.
