What were you doing when you were a teenager? Was it touring the world in a band, known for your great vocals singing in your third language? It's probably safe to say there is only one blue-haired individual that can lay claim to that backstory, and that's Au/Ra.

You would recognize Au/Ra for her single "Outsiders," which she played an exclusive, acoustic version of for us at The End a while back and which you can now listen to below thanks to our friends at Elysian Brewing.

“I’ve always kind of felt like an outsider,” Au/Ra says. “Not just because of growing up in the middle of nowhere, but also because I’ve always just been a bit introverted. I wanted to make a song for people who don’t feel like they fit in, and just say, 'It’s okay to be a bit weird. Whoever you are, you shouldn’t feel less powerful just because you don’t fit in with the typical in crowd.’”

Listen to the original, non-acoustic version below.
