CenturyLink, and the march before, will be shrouded in love.

Seattle Sounders FC Pride March

by Gregr

Sounders FC returns to Seattle with east coast accents after spending the last three matches away on the other side of the USA. To be fair, there was that giant international break to keep everyone busy. Oh, and don't forget a good U.S. Open Cup match up against local good guys, Kitsap Pew-pew-pew-mas.

It’s great to have our boys in Rave Green back at home, coming out of the tunnel to that creepy music and boom-boom-clap. It is not good that they are doing it without Dempsey who’s still away on international duty with the USMNT… who cares about the third place game… then how long will he need to be rested before playing at CenturyLink again. Side note: does he get his usual locker when the USA plays here in Seattle?

4 best ways to clebrate Pride in Seattle

Ross Fletcher and I preview the match below!

The Sounders are looking at the league from the bottom, up. That’s not cool. This is the first season where that’s happened and it sucks! Luckily, if you Sounders good this weekend, you can make a difference.

How to Sounders Good: It’s Pride Match this week. Rainbow scarves, smiling faces, good vibes - now you better freaking show up, sunshine. Or better yet, partly cloudy WITH RAINBOWS!!!! It's the second best March to the Match (home opener is #1). This day writes itself. Let’s take a cue out of Orlando City SC’s supporters section and honor love this weekend. I’m hoping the chants like “Let him die” don’t find a way to the stadium. Let’s all band together!

I’m hoping that the big names of NYCFC decide to play on the field turf at CenturyLink. I would love to see Pirlo and David Villa running around wowing us with their international pedigree, Villa with 11 goals this season. Finally, I’m hoping to raise a beer with you and the other soccer nerds filling the first of five full bowl matches of 2016!
