Summertime lockdown suuuuuucks, but there are simple ways we entertain ourselves. I do hobby photography and as a new homeowner am still interested in learning to garden and work in the yard. Last year, after noticing some holes in my garden leaves, I went and scored a bucket of ladybugs. This year, with a 2yo driving us crazy at home, I gave a new secondary purpose to our red shelled little friends.

This is what a small butter tub of ladybugs looks like. I love them.

I've now spent upwards of $20 on ladybugs during coronavirus times and it has been worth every cent. Following the super basic sparklers, snakes and smokebomb fireworks, all my boy kept asking for is to release the ladybugs. Amazing that something so simple could entertain him better than exploding sparkly stuff (which he still enjoyed regardless if we wanted to or not #neighbors.)

Enjoy (maybe) this set of photos I've collected in the lockdown!
