For the last several years, I've been invited to participate in Seattle Humane's Tuxes and Tails. It's their big fancy dress-up gala where some of the biggest donors come out, wave cards around to bid on auction items, and most importantly enjoy the pups and kitties being walked across the stage in search of scritches, rubs, and treats. It's the best.

This was the first year where not only did I get to walk an adorable dog on the stage, but then got to co-host the event!

Tank had a rough (ruff?) road from a difficult to manage skin condition to the runway at Meydenbauer:

There were so many cutie pies that needed homes, and Seattle Refined's Sunny Martini captured it beautifully,! I'm not sure were any more adorable than this little turd:

By the end of the night, friends in greater Seattle area donated almost $2 million which is rad, but I love reading about pups and kitties getting new homes! Seattle Humane posted to Twitter:

"We had an incredibly successful Mother's Day Weekend at Seattle Humane! A total of 64 pets were adopted Friday through Sunday, including 23 pets who we showcased at our 29th Annual Tuxes & Tails. Among this lucky number are Phoenix & Surprise! Cheers to all the new families!"

Amazing stuff, gang! Come get dressed up with me next year!
