2019 is the year that we go back in time... not actually in the past, an untouchable expression of our memories that once was and never will be again, but we're taking our love of all things DeLorean and bringing it back to life... in the future!

The DeLorean Motor Company took the weirdest car with its flappy wings/doors and found an incredible audience via the exploits of Doc Brown and Marty McFly in Back to the Future(s). It's become a cultural icon that even a new generation of kids will learn to love when featured in Ready Player One later this year.

Back in 2015, the government did some government stuff (probably wasted allllllll the money doing it) and changed the rules so DeLorean could start making small batches of the famed DMC12. These replicas would be a flashback to the past visually with the stainless steel body like something out of my kitchen.

**Side note: did you know you can clean stainless steel with gasoline (do not try)?**

According to Geek.com, it's gonna set you back $100,000 (without the time machine add-ons) and will be almost identical save for a new, more powerful engine/wheels/brakes and an updated stereo. The flux capacitor hasn't changed, but Mr. Fusion has been updated to Mr. Compost.
