New Music Discovery: Green Day "Bang Bang"

Someone lit a fuse and Green Day is ready to explode.

Green Day returned today with a song that is one part cold brew, one part punk rock rage at a broken system, and one part cat fighting a raccoon in a bounce house.

"Bang Bang" is the lead single from Revolution Radio (October 7th), the first offering since Green Day's experiment with the triple album ¡Uno!, ¡Dos!, and ¡Tre! at the end of 2012.

The dudes have found something from the past that reinvigorates that classic Green Day sound. My shoulder hurts from the furry of Billie Joe's over exaggerated guitar downstrokes - hopefully, I'm not the only that air-guitar'd along! Pre-order the new album today.

"That new Green Day has me feeling like I drank a case of Surge." - Mark in Bellevue.
