Starting January 1st, 2020, the legal age for buying nicotine products is going up a few years.

At the end of last week, Congress passed a law moving the age for nicotine products from 18-21. No more cigarettes, cigars or vape juice. Vape juice sounds nasty.

Ahh, vape juice, from the nicotine tree’s best fruit… it’s fresh-squeezed so you know its extra gross. Obviously, this is a super positive thing for your lung health, but imagine someone who is addicted to cigarettes and 19 years old now. Do they have to go back to doing illicit things to get them? Is there some sort of pass? Better yet, is there some quit smoking help they'll receive?

The reactions range from "get your hands off me, the government" to "if you're old enough to die for your country, you should be old enough to buy a pack of cigarettes" to "cool."

Dumb quips aside, should you want to quit smoking, here's a link to information that can help you stop smoking.
