Revive I-5 is back and it spells certain doom for your weekend commuting! Northbound I-5 is going to be completely closed between the West Seattle Bridge and the Olive Way exit. Cancel everything!

There's no way around conducting maintenance and repairs on the roads we use, but when it's the biggest vein through an already impossible city, it simply just sucks.

According to King5.com, the work goes like this:
"Ramp and lane closures will begin at 8 p.m. on Friday, July 13. WSDOT said all northbound lanes beginning at the West Seattle Bridge to the Columbian Way off-ramp will be closed by 10 p.m. and will open to traffic by Monday at 5 a.m."

Tips to make it suck less:
Don't drive near where it's closed.
Travel by catapult.
Rent one of those brightly colored bikes and ride around.
Find somewhere air conditioned that also serves beer and live there all weekend.
