Those Trailer Looking Mom Pods at SeaTac - What are They?

My wife took SpaceBaby into one to check it out for everyone...

Usually with Wendy's breakfast in hand, I go scurrying by one of the trailer looking pods within Seatac International Anger Depot without giving the pod much notice.

For the first time, now armed with SpaceBaby, more bags than we have arms, and a ton of extra time, my wife took our little boob monster to check out one of these mom pods and I asked her to snag a few photos so we could all see what's going on in there. It turns out, it's just a super chill room where mom and baby or mom and Darth Vader apparatus breast pump can get away from the sea of disgusting germs and weird staring people of an airport for a little well lit feeding getaway.

SpaceBaby's mom, Lori, said "it was comforting to have a quiet, calm place in the chaos where he wouldn't get distracted and I didn't have to try to maneuver him around while trying to stay covered. I didn't realize how helpful it was until I tried feeding him at O'Hare and they didn't have it."

Also, the cleanliness...This is way better than any of the terminals! Whatever you do, don't wipe down a terminal seat with a sanitizing wipe... it will make you never want to sit anywhere ever again... These pods are actually pretty abundant around SeaTac:

So, there you go moms and curious friends - this is what those pods are for!

A quick aside: a baby eating from a boob is about as basic as we get at a human level - I think it sucks so much that women are made to feel uncomfortable breastfeeding. Babies gotta eat. Mom's that wanna get some privacy/peace - these seem awesome.
