Starting Friday (10/16/20), AMC, Cinemark and Far Away Entertainment movie theaters will begin showing films again... to humans! Governor Inslee revised the reopening do's and don'ts allowing theaters to welcome a limited capacity. The group that runs the Admiral in West Seattle and the Varisty in the U District will also follow suit. You can expect tons of empty seats, mask rules in place, and will be asked to attend with only people in your bubble if you plan to sit together. More info here.

At time of writing, there were no showtimes to be found, so...

Are we just going there to eat popcorn and hold our pee bc we don't want to miss the good part of... nothing?
Do you think movie theater popcorn is still good seven months later? Or do they fresh pop some?
Are you comfortable going to a movie theater again or is it too soon?

AMC has 15 theaters from Pacific Place to Alderwood, Factoria to Kitsap. All but one will be open to at least one-quarter capacity.

Cinemark locations in Bellevue's Lincoln Square, Federal Way, and Tacoma will also welcome guests starting Friday (10/16)

Far Away Entertainment's Admiral in West Seattle and the Varisty in the U District are getting in on the hijinks, too.

Please stay safe: keep your distance, where your mask, and wash those hands so we can keep moving in the right direction.
