LISTEN TO THIS: Damien Jurado releases "Allocate" from new album

April 13, 2018

Last month Seattle artist and my favorite songwriter Damien Jurado announced his new album The Horizon Just Laughed by releasing a gorgeous music video for his new song "Over Rainbows and Rainier". It was obviously amazing and perfect like all the other music he makes.

Today Jurado offers another glimpse into his next album with "Allocate." It's a dreamy one.

The Horizon Just Laughed will be released by Secretly Canadian on May 4, but pre-orders are already shipping. You can see Jurado when he performs live at St. Mark's Cathedral on Saturday June 2nd.

Listen to the latest Locals Only Podcast with The Moondoggies...

Episode 18: The Moondoggies

The Moondoggies have a new album out this Friday (4/13). It's called A Love Sleeps Deep and it is very VERY good. They also have a release show that same night at The Neptune Theatre with Seattle bands Grand Hallways and Le Sang Song. That is a great Locals Only lineup.

We also got into people being snobs about music, why everybody should listen to an old Seattle band called The Lights who are no more, and if you don't like The Lights then you're wrong.
