#sEATtle: New Menu Items at Safeco Field

I like to eat. A lot. Food is bae. Therefore, I figured I would post reviews of the places I go to give you a little insight and maybe some ideas on where you might want to nom with your friends or special someones. Plus, it gives me an excuse to pig out on Seattle's best eats and not feel bad about it, because work!

Before we start, though, I want to make one thing perfectly clear, I am NOT a professional food nerd, nor do I want to be. I don't know the intricacies of French cooking. Heck, I don't even know how to spell "intricacies." It also means that if you ask me what the best burger is, I'll probably say Lil Woody's before I suggest any kind of "gourmet" burger, unless that gourmet burger has an egg on it. Then gourmet burger wins (any burger with an egg on it wins really.) Also, my idea of a fancy pizza is anything with more than two toppings. Basically what I'm getting at is consider these restaurant reviews for the common man/woman.

Got it? Good, let's roll!

RESTAURANT
Safeco Field

ADDRESS
1250 1st Avenue South

Buy you some peanuts and Cracker Jacks?  What are you, an old?  Spring is here and with it the beginning of baseball! Every year Safeco Field, with the help of Ethan Stowell, introduce new menu items that you can enjoy while kicking it in King's Court or hitting on pretty girls in The Pen.  Last year, they introduced crickets!  This year, they upped their game and welcomed Din Tai Fung to the mix (best lyfe) along with some other treats.  Let's check them out...

EATS

Din Tai Fung!!!!!!!!!!!!- You guys, the best dumplings in the city can now be enjoyed at Safeco Field...sort of.  Sadly soup dumplings will not be on the menu, but wontons and sticky buns are in play and they are fantastic!  In fact, the sticky bun is the PERFECT ball park food! no mess, self contained, delicious. Nice!

Dynamite Chicken sandwich.  Smothered in a spicy sauce created by Ethan Stowell himself, you will be able to smash these in the 'Pen.  Perfect to pair with 1 or 100 beers.

Jack's BBQ Hush Puppies- Jack's does incredible BBQ so it should come as no surprise that these little guys are fantastic. I remember when I was a kid, my mom would take to Long John Silver's and all I would order were hush puppies.  Can't wait to do that at Safeco.

Donuts- The #1 must have food EVERY time I go to Pike Market is a bag of fresh donuts.  Now you can get em at Safeco too!  AND THEY COME WITH BACON

Cuban Sandwich- From the Sultan of Sandwich (I see what you did there) comes this little snack.  Cuban sandwiches are great because its basically a sandwich filled with every kind of cooked pig you can imagine, and cooked pig is so so so good.

Let's be super honest, baseball is a long and often times boring sport, but that doesn't mean going to a game has to be!  The smell of the grass, the heat of the sun, and now stuffing your face with pork sticky buns is a recipe for fun whether you support the team or not! Get to Safeco Field this year and bring your appetite.
