“The one constant through all the years, Ray, has been baseball. America has rolled by like an army of steamrollers. It’s been erased like a blackboard, rebuilt, and erased again. But baseball has marked the time. This field, this game, is a part of our past, Ray. It reminds us of all that once was good, and it could be again. Oh, people will come, Ray. People will most definitely come.”

-Terrence Mann (James Earl Jones) from the movie Field of Dreams

BASEBALL IS BACK!!! Gone are the school closings because of snow, and back are the warm summer nights full of fun and bad decisions made in The Pen.  Now, its a rebuilding year for the Mariners, but that is no reason to stay away from the park.  They've once again stepped up their food game this year at the new T-Mobile Park and I had a chance to sample some of the offerings.  Take me out to the ball game, I'm starving.

Fat's chicken sandwich and wings.  Chicken wings are the ultimate sports companion food!  And when you add a bun to the equation, its even better so that you don't get wing sauce all over your hands...which eventually means all over your jersey.

Ku Ku fries-  You want these fries.  You need these fries.  They are spicy, they are salty, they are umami.  UUUUUUMAMMMMMI!!!!  This is the must have item of 2019, trust me.

Lil Woody's is headed to T-Mobile!  And the best part is that its going to be located by The Pen.  Perfect for a snack after those 18 Rainiers you are going to drink.

Magenta Mojo-  Lillet liqueur, Pamplemousse rose liquor, hibiscus, Peychaud’s aromatic bitters, soda water, and vodka.

Paseo-  What needs to be said?  Caribbean pork sandwiches are a Seattle must, and now you can get one while watching Domingo Santana hit bombs out to left field!

Paseo corn on the cob-  I spent a lot of time in the Southwest so I'm pretty well versed on street corn, but if you aren't, don't be intimidated.  A little messy, but totally worth it!
