Locals Only Playlist: November 18th with Sloucher

November 21, 2018

Supported by Rainier Beer

Sunday night I spent the first hour of Locals Only playing songs from some of my favorite releases of the year. Tracks from Damien Jurado, Jenn Champion, Ruler, Tres Leches, Tellers, Skating Polly and many more.

In the second hour I was joined by local band Sloucher. We talked about their great new album Be True. This highly anticipated debut full length album was just released on Friday and has already received fantastic national press. If you give it a listen you'll quickly understand why.

While Sloucher was in studio I got them to commit to never moving away from Seattle (they basically promised) and they played their song "Complacent" live on the air for us.

You can get the new album Be True from Sloucher now and you can see them this Friday (11/23) at Barboza when they celebrate the release of their new album with Locals Only favorites Red Ribbon and Snuff Redux. Instead of blowing your cash on doorbusters for yourselves (lets be honest) go spend a few bucks at a great local show and get some vinyl. You'll be glad you did.
