Locals Only Playlist: September 9th with Say Hi and Abraham

September 12, 2018

Some Locals Only favorites came by the show this week. We had Say Hi and Abraham in studio.

First, Seattle band Abraham came by to talk about and play the third EP they released this year. The three song project is called Stuck In A Rare Form and I do believe it might be the best work from a band I already enjoyed very much. You can see Abraham at Cafe Racer this Thursday (9/13) when they celebrate the release of their latest EP.

In the second hour of the show I was joined by Eric Elbogen of Say Hi. Over a year ago Eric announced that he would be ending Say Hi. Even though I very much enjoyed his Werewolf Diskdrive project, the news that Say Hi was coming to an end was very sad for me and many fans. The Say Hi retirement was shortlived and I couldn't be more excited about that. Last week we got a new Say Hi album, Caterpillar Centipede, and it is wonderful.

Eric and I talked about his bringing the project back, the national house show tour he is about to embark on, and of course we dove into the new album.

Here is the rest of the playlist from Sunday night:
