We need to talk about Tomo Nakayama.

By now you should be aware of the fact that the Seattle artist has the voice of an angel and writes some of the most beautiful and thoughtful songs around. Just this year he released the single “Keep On Movin” that was extremely timely in the wake of families being separated at the border and quickly became one of my favorite songs of the year.

That wasn’t enough for Tomo though. He had to go and really show his range this week when he took on a musical masterpiece. The Chili’s Baby Back Ribs song.

"I just had that song stuck in my head and loved the guys from the original video. I had to recreate it... I'm a ridiculous person" Tomo said of why he made the video.

So naturally he sent this amazing work over to Chili's on Twitter and of course they loved it.

They loved it so much

Like, they really, REALLY loved it

Look, this is all very silly fun stuff and it should totally be said that we should all have much respect to the Chili's social media team, but it should also be said that Tomo Nakayama is a Seattle treasure and you need to go see him at The Fremont Abbey Arts Center on February 15th.
