A Chat With Seattle EDM Group Super Square

August 3, 2015

It all started when Super Square cold tweeted Gregr several months ago, after Subtronic End kicked off. They introduced themselves, and within a few days I was playing their banging EDM anthem ‘Erase Me’. The track went on to chart on Billboard and Beatport, and remixes are getting to be vast. But aside from prolific, talented artists, Super Square are good people, and a pleasure to kick it with. So I invited them to the studio to sit down for a chat. We talked about their history, the current state of EDM, the view and treatment of women in this male dominated genre, and more. But mostly, we just laughed and got ridiculous. If you’re in a bad mood and enjoying it, you probably shouldn’t listen to this, it might make you smile. They'll be back August 15th for a guest mix on Subtronic. Listen live from 10p - 1a. - Zach
