Lyric Videos: Lame. Foo Fighters Lyric Video: Awesome

The Foo Fighters are back with a new album, Sonic Highways (11/10), and for each song, they recorded in a different studio around the country. Dave sits down with musicians in each city, interviews them, then uses the transcripts to write the lyrics. This whole process is then documented and made into an HBO TV series starting last Friday in Chicago. Check out the finished product, a video shot in Steve Albini's iconic Electrical Audio studios - the place they recorded the song. Then below that, a full concert posted to YouTube from the venue Dave saw his first rock concert!


To celebrate the new song/show/album, The Foo Fighters then played a show at the scene of Dave's first rock concert, the Cubby Bear. You can watch this Rick Nielsen accompanied, Taylor Hawkins sometimes singing set in it's entirety:
